Trekkers ascend through lush rainforest, moorland, and alpine desert, culminating in a midnight climb to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Staying in huts rather than tents makes this route particularly suitable for first-time climbers or anyone preferring comfort during their adventure. The descent follows the same trail through alpine and forested zones, completing a memorable, scenic, and manageable Kilimanjaro experience.

After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate for registration. Begin your trek through lush rainforest filled with blue monkeys and vibrant birdlife. Stop for a picnic lunch midway before continuing to Mandara Hut. Explore nearby Maundi Crater for scenic views before dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, ascend through moorland terrain with open views of Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks. The vegetation shifts from rainforest to heather and volcanic rock. Arrive at Horombo Hut in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Trek gradually through alpine desert, crossing the Saddle, a lunar-like landscape between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Arrive at Kibo Hut in the afternoon. Rest early and prepare for the midnight summit push.

Ascend steadily toward Barafu Camp, the base camp for your final summit push. The trail is rocky and barren, offering magnificent views of Mawenzi Peak. Arrive early to rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare your gear for the midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak.

Descend through moorland and rainforest zones, watching the vegetation change as you lose altitude. Upon reaching Marangu Gate, sign out and receive your summit certificate. Our driver will transfer you back to Moshi for a celebratory dinner and relaxation.
